PCM: PCM is a combination of science stream in which students have to study Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in class XI and XII as the chosen subjects.
PCB: PCB is a combination of science stream in which students have to study Physics, Chemistry and Biology as elective subjects in class XI and XII.
PCMB: PCMB is a combination of science stream in which students have to study Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology as chosen subjects for class XI and XII.
One has to study mathematics along with physics and chemistry subjects if they want to opt engineering or related field as the career. If they want to choose medical field as the career studying biology in 12th is a must. So a student who studying PCMB stream in science can go for both engineering as well as medicine after 12th pass.
