What is UGC NET?

UGC NET Exam (National Eligibility Test) is conducted for selection of candidates for the qualification of Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). From 2018 December onwards NTA (National Testing Agency) is conducting the examination on behalf of UGC (University Grants Commission). Earlier it was conducted by CBSE.
