What is CMAT (Common Management Admission Test)?
CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) is a management admission test conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). NTA is conducting CMAT from 2019 onward, Earlier it was conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). This exam conducted once in every year as per the directions of Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. CMAT exam score is accepted by all AICTE Approved Institutions / University Departments / Constituent Colleges / Affiliated Colleges.
CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) is three hour computer based test conducted in the month of January.
Important Dates for CMAT 2020
CMAT 2020 will be held in two shifts on Friday, January 24, 2020. First shift of CMAT 2020 exam will be from 9.30 AM to 12.30 PM and the second shift of CMAT 2020 exam is from 2.30 PM to 5.30 PM. Important dates for CMAT 2020 are given below:
Exam Notification: in the month of October
On-line submission of Application Form: November 1, 2019 to November 30, 2019
Printing of Admit Cards from NTA’s website: From December 24, 2019
Date of CMAT Exam: January 24, 2020
Declaration of Result on NTA’s website: By February 3, 2020
Eligibility for CMAT
The following are eligibility for applying to CMAT 2020 Exam
- The candidate must be a citizen of India.
- The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
- Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor’s degree (10+2+3) whose result will be declared before commencement of admission for academic year 2020-21 can also apply for CMAT 2020.
- There is no age restriction for appearing in CMAT 2020.
How to Apply?
Candidates have to apply for CMAT 2020 “Online” ONLY by accessing the website http://www.ntacmat.nic.in .
Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. More than one application i.e. Multiple application forms submitted by a candidate will be rejected.
Admit Card
Successfully registered candidate can download their admit card from the official website. The admit card will be available as per the schedule of the examination.
CMAT (Common Management Admission Test) Result
Result of CMAT is available in the official website after it is officially declared. Candidate can download their CMAT score from the official website.
CMAT Exam Pattern
CMAT is a fully computer based online test. The questions are coming from four sections namely Quantitative Techniques and Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension and General Awareness. Fees for CMAT – 2019 is as given below. Processing charges & Goods & Service Taxes are to be paid by the candidate, as applicable.

CMAT – 2019 exam fees can only be paid through Credit / Debit Card / Net Banking / e-challan.
