Weaknesses of ENFJ Personality Type
Like every personality types, ENFJ personality type also have their own strengths and weaknesses. Common traits of ENFJs make their strengths and weaknesses. ENFJs should concentrate on their strengths and try to reduce or overcome their weaknesses. For this it is important to understand what are their strengths and weaknesses.
The following are some of the weaknesses of ENFJ Personality Type:
1. Too selfless
ENFJs are selfless people who consider other’s needs than their own. They consider others problems as their own and work hard to meet them. This could have end up in neglecting their own needs and fall into personal problems. Also, this could have end up in making them unable to help anyone in future.
2. Too sensitive
This personality type people are too sensitive and can take criticism personally. They also take others problems as their own and try to fix things they can’t fix. If they couldn’t solve it, they will start to worry much about it.
3. Shattered self-esteem
ENFJs value themselves and get their self-esteem from other people. That is, if everyone around them are happy, they feel they fulfilled and are able to do the tasks. If they couldn’t help others, their self-confidence will be shaken. This would also happen if they got criticized and rejected for their actions.
4. Not able to make tough and hard decisions
Their sensitivity and humanitarian consideration towards others make them unable to take tough and hard decisions when required. ENFJs should understand that at some situations, they need to take hard decisions which will hurt others.
5. High degree empathy
This personality type people possess high degree of empathy. This could have been a problem as sometimes it leads to unconditional trust in persons which may misused by others. They may also always see best in others and this can lead to disappointment.
6. Complex nature
ENFJs are too complex people and often have difficulty in revealing their true identities and values. Their perception and understanding towards others and adjustable nature while talking makes them not easily identifiable personality. Even though they are extraverted personalities, they will not reveal them much.
